CES 2024, Pacific Drive, and AI vs Gamers

We’ve got new handhelds, new gpus, new broken records, and some broken hearts from those working in the gaming industry. On this episode of Video Game Tango a 13 year old has BEATEN Tetris for the first time! Then, an estimated 2400 people have been laid off in the gaming industry already this year including nearly 35% of Twitch staff. Another series of handheld announcements have been made including MSI’s “The Claw” and a new SteamOS-fueled Ayaneo Next-Lite! Then we discuss upcoming indie developed “Pacific Drive”, a game we have been keeping a close eye on for some time is getting early reviews, and seems like it might be quite a standout release title for Ironwood Studios! Sag-Aftra is making some hard decisions in the face of AI competition in the gaming space, and NVidia have announced a new lineup of 4000 series RTX graphics cards! Are they going to be worth your hard-earned dollar?
